Sturgeon Bay High School Presents ‘School of Rock’

Based on the iconic movie School of Rock, this irresistible musical follows a failed, wannabe rock star who poses as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school to earn a little cash. There he turns his straight-A pupils into a guitar-shredding, mind-blowing rock band, but can he get them to the Battle of the Bands without their parents and the school’s headmistress finding out?

The Sturgeon Bay High School Theater Arts program will present School of Rock April 24-27. Students have created this entire production: set design, costumes, acting, singing and dancing. Senior citizens are invited to a free performance on April 24, 10 am, followed by a free luncheon hosted by the high school’s Service Club. Call Mrs. Rankin at 920.746.2819 to make a luncheon reservation.

Evening performances will continue at 7 pm on April 25 and 26, with a 2 pm show on April 27. Tickets – $10 per adult and $7 per student – will be available at the high school auditorium box office 30 minutes prior to each performance.
