Sturgeon Bay Holiday Art Crawl to Hold Preview Reception

2016 marks the 10th anniversary of the Sturgeon Bay Holiday Art Crawl, set for Nov. 19 and 20, 10 am to 4 pm. The free event is an opportunity for the public to visit artists in their home studios or galleries and to shop locally for original artwork and gifts.

The 2016 Art Crawl includes 23 artists at 15 Sturgeon Bay city and rural locations.

The public is also invited to a first-ever Preview Reception on Nov. 18, 5 – 7 pm, at Popelka Trenchard Glass, 64 S. 2nd Ave. Guests will be able to meet the artists, enjoy refreshments and view examples of each artist’s work in one place.

This year’s Door Prize is an original bread and cheese board created for the event by member artist Michael Doerr of Doerr Woodworking. Folks may fill out an entry form at each stop on the Art Crawl and the winner will be chosen at the end of the weekend. The one-of-a-kind piece is on display at Artists Guild LLC, 215 N. Third Ave., a sponsor of the event.
