Sturgeon Bay Mayor Declares June 24 ‘Open Door Pride Day’

Open Door Pride is proud to present their Inaugural Pride Event, celebrating the diversity of the LQBTQ community and inclusiveness of all people with a Pride Picnic from 11 am to 4 pm in Martin Park, Sturgeon Bay. In an act of vision, June 24 of 2017 has been declared Open Door Pride Day by Sturgeon Bay Mayor Thad Birmingham.

This is a family friendly event day with a full schedule of music, dance, a little stand up, poetry, and art activities. Popcorn, snacks and water will be for sale.

There will be an Open Door prize: a guitar will be given away to two attendees.

Bring a picnic (no glass containers of any kind please) and enjoy the day in scenic Martin Park and celebrate the beautiful spirit of our Door County community coming together to promote diversity, tolerance, and inclusiveness. For more information visit opendoorpride.org.
