Sturgeon Bay PR Advisor Speaks at International Conference

Sturgeon Bay writer, editor, and PR advisor Michelle Meacham recently spoke at the Public Relations Society of America’s (PRSA) annual international conference. The conference featured keynote speakers Biz Stone, founder of Twitter, and Tim Westergren, founder of Pandora online radio.

Meacham’s presentation focused on social media in the financial services industry. Denyette DePierro, senior legal counsel of the American Bankers Association, and Dr. Marcia DiStaso, an assistant professor of public relations at Pennsylvania State University were co-presenters. They discussed compliance issues, best practices, and social media in general.

Meacham said, “PRSA is a highly regarded organization, and it was wonderful to be part of this significant event.”
