Sturgeon Bay Resident Guest at Czech Centennial Gala

University of Wisconsin – Green Bay professor and Sturgeon Bay resident Sarah Meredith Livingston and husband, Jay Livingston, were special guests for the Czech Centennial Gala held at the Oshkosh Country Club, honoring Radek Vondracek, the Speaker of the Parliament for Prague, Czech Republic, on July 23.

In addition to Vondracek as the guest speaker, Acacia Angelo, UWGB senior in music education, was there as the newly crowned Wisconsin Czech Slovak Queen for 2018-19. Angelo is also a voice student of Meredith’s and won the talent division for the competition singing a Dvorak song in Czech.
