Sturgeon Bay School Board Seeking Candidates

Candidates interested in interviewing with the School District of Sturgeon Bay Board of Education regarding the vacant board seat previously held by Jacob Schulz should express their interest in writing to Superintendent of Schools Dan Tjernagel no later than 4 pm Thursday, Sept. 1, 2016. The Board of Education currently plans to interview each interested candidate on the evening of Wednesday, Sept. 7. It is the intention of the Board of Education to make a special appointment to fill the currently vacant seat. The term of an appointed board member could begin as early as the Sept. 21 regular Board of Education meeting. Provided a suitable candidate is found and appointed, the candidate would fill the seat until April of 2017.
