Sturgeon Bay School District Initiates New Community Education Program

The Sturgeon Bay School District has initiated a new community-education program called Community Programming to welcome the community into the school to see the facilities and to interact with staff while engaging in learning. During this first year of programming, the district made several of the classes available to students in third grade or higher to attend with a parent, grandparent or other adult.

School staff members were invited to teach a class that would showcase a curriculum subject they currently teach or something they’re passionate about outside of the school day. Classes were offered in January and will conclude in March.

Learn more about the classes being offered on the school website under the Community link. To join a mailing list to hear about next year’s programming schedule and receive registration forms, email [email protected].
