Following completion of a referendum remodeling project, Sturgeon Bay School District is offering an open house for the community to see the results of its recent remodeling project.
The open house is scheduled for Nov. 30 from 4-6 pm and will begin with words from alumni, students and staff.
“By offering renovated facilities, we give our students, community & businesses the best opportunities to succeed,” said Superintendent Dan Tjernagel, Superintendent stated.
The existing high school was constructed over 50 years ago.
Changes made range from additions to buildings, revamped classroom spaces, improved safety/security as well as adaptations for ADA compliance. The redesigned spaces replicate how students will collaborate, work and learn in the future. All buildings saw improvements to plumbing, electrical, ventilation and upgrades to computer networks.
