Sturgeon Bay Student Receives Award from National Academy of Future Scientists and Technologists

Megan Richard, a junior at Sturgeon Bay High School, has received an Award of Excellence from the Science Advisory Board of the National Academy of Future Scientists and Technologists. The award recognizes Richard’s outstanding academic performance, leadership potential and dedication to serving humanity through science, technology, engineering or math.

This award was earned through Richard’s efforts at the Congress of Future Science and Technology Leaders in June 2016 in Boston, Mass. While there, she was surrounded by many fellow high school students who share her passion, ability and potential. She was taught by some of the greatest living minds in science and technology.

The theme of each congress is “Greatness Awaits,” and it offers students an extraordinary opportunity to be mentored by some of the most important leaders of our time. A three-minute highlight film is available at SciTechLeaders.com.
