Sturgeon Bay’s Coast Guard Station Hosts Open House

National Safe Boating Week is May 19 through May 25. To observe this week, the U.S. Coast Guard Station in Sturgeon Bay will host an open house on May 25 from 11 am – 5 pm.

Open house activities include tours of US Coast Guard boats, station, and search and rescue equipment. Attendees also have the opportunity to learn about marine and boating safety from Coastie (a talking, moving boat) and how to throw a heaving line.

Hot dogs and beverages will be available to purchase, with proceeds benefiting the USCG Station Sturgeon Bay morale fund.
