Sturgeon Bay’s Glas Features Local Plein Air Painters

Long before most people have poured their first cups of coffee, a hardy group of local artists gather to paint outdoors in and around Sturgeon Bay. A show of works by five of these plein air painters opens August 1 at Glas Green Coffee House.

The exhibit will feature Sarah Bradley, Karen Lee DeNoto, Lynn Gilchrist, Pat Olson, and Mac Schueppert. Their works include views of local sites in watercolors, pastels, acrylics, and oils.

To celebrate the exhibit, a reception open to the public will be held Thursday, August 5 from 6 – 8:30 pm.
