Sturgeon Bay’s Harvest Fest and Street Art Auction of Benches is Sept. 17

Sturgeon Bay kicks off fall festivities in the county with the Harvest Festival and Street Art Auction, Sept. 17, 9 am – 5pm.

All the fun begins on Third Avenue with a variety of art and craft vendors, fall store specials citywide, live music, lots of food and more.

The Old Bolts Car Club will host the 11th annual Harvest Festival Classic Car Show on Third Ave. from 8 am to 4 pm, with the awards ceremony at 3 pm. Proceeds benefit local nonprofits.

Live music at the festival includes Hot Off the Grill, 11 am – 4 pm, in front of Third Avenue Playhouse, and Dow Jones, 4 – 5:40 pm, at Martin Park. Also, Inkapirka will engage crowds with music of the Andes.

Pre-registration for the 16th annual Sturgeon Bay Street Art Auction begins at 4 pm at the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center Auction Registration table. This year’s auction features 19 unique two-seat Adirondack benches and seven freeform creations including the reclining “Work Bench” by Cory Holt, illuminating “Light by the Bay” by Tina Robinson and David Gohr, and “Cemented in Nature” by Rob Soukup. The auction starts at 5:30 pm. Proxy bids are being accepted for those unable to attend. Cast proxy bids at sturgeonbay.net or call 920.743.6246. All events are open to the public free of charge.
