Sturgeon Bay’s Westwood Shores Completes Renovation

Westwood Shores Waterfront Resort in Sturgeon Bay has completed its $600,000-plus renovation project, which includes a complete makeover of the lobby, corridors, conference rooms and all 38 suites.

The work encompasses new paint, carpeting, flooring, lighting, furniture, bedding, accessories and artwork and is the culmination of more than two years of planning by the resort’s management team, board and interior design firm partner, Studio DC. Designer Katie Harding of Studio DC provided interior-design and project-management services for the project.

“We are thrilled to unveil the results of the renovation, which provides a sophisticated and modern look for our property,” said Denise Stillman, principal at Foremost Management Services, Westwood Shores’ management firm. “But more important is the reaction of our guests, and they have been overwhelmingly positive. This project not only signals exciting changes for Westwood Shores, but it also presents a unique environment among Door County resorts.”
