Sturgeons Bring in $33,400 for SBVC

Seventeen street art sturgeons drew in a large crowd of local residents and visitors to Sturgeon Bay during the Street Art Auction on Sept. 22. This year’s auction brought in $33,400. A portion of the money goes back to the sturgeon artists, and the rest goes to the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center (SBVC) – the not for profit organizer of festivals, parades, seasonal flowers, and holiday lights.

The SBVC is pleased with the positive feedback regarding Harvest Festival, Street Art Auction and Harvest Moon Celebration and looks forward to Thrills on Third, the first annual children’s costume parade on Oct. 27, developed by the Third Avenue Business Association, and Christmas by the Bay, Nov. 16 – 18, for the annual tree lighting ceremony and Christmas parade.
