Successful Campaign for Salvation Army

The Salvation Army of Door County once again had a very successful year for the Christmas Red Kettle Campaign. The goal was $40,000 and the amount raised was $41,083, 2.5 percent above the goal. This marks the 4th year in a row that donations have exceeded $40,000. Highlights for this year included the first 1-ounce U.S. gold coin donated, the first donor-sponsored Match Day, and the first time Northern Door broke the $10,000 donation level. A sincere thank you to all the generous people in Door County who supported the effort. Please know that the money collected stays here in Door County to help local people who are in need.
