Sue Baldwin Fund Offers Breast Cancer Screening, Treatment and Care

The Sue Baldwin Fund, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit providing breast cancer screening, treatment and care for Door County residents who have an economic need. The board of directors recently announced that a simple application is available for download on its website, suebaldwinfund.com. Individuals are encouraged to apply in order to receive financial assistance for a wide range of needs – from heating bills and rent, to gas and healing resources.

“This is a disease that impacts so many people and I wanted to make a difference,” said Baldwin Smith. Since the fund was established, almost $120,000 has been raised – with every penny benefitting Door County residents.

Funding for the Sue Baldwin Fund comes mainly from “The Pink Classic,” an annual golf tournament and fundraiser held at Horseshoe Bay Golf Club. This year’s event takes place on May 31. For more information or to make a donation, call 920.839.1114 or email [email protected].
