Summer Concert Series at Peg Egan PAC

The Peg Egan Performing Arts Center (eggharbordoorcounty.org) announces its 2019 Summer Concert Series of nationally acclaimed artists.

“We believe the Peg Egan PAC adds another layer of artistic excellence in the county and brings people to spend the afternoon or the weekend here,” said John Heller, Village Board president.

The season will start on June 9 with Tales of Our Lives, a story slam about empowerment through performance featuring six captivating storytellers. Musicians will round out the night.

Next up on June 16 will be Brulé: an experience of sight, sound and soul that pushes the boundaries of contemporary Native American rhythm and classic rock through traditional instrumentation and dancers.

Karla Bonoff

Karla Bonoff will hit the stage on June 23. She has penned dozens of melodic rock tunes, many of which have become hits for Linda Ronstadt, Aaron Neville, Bonnie Raitt and Wynonna Judd. On June 30, Steppin’ In It will take audiences back to the days of old-time radio.

Dead Horses will perform on July 7, and the modern Celtic group Switchback will play on July 14. The Guthrie Brothers will return on July 21 for the Simon and Garfunkel experience. Grammy nominated for Best Country Performance by a Duo, Dailey & Vincent will play on July 28.

Electri-Violet will share its combination of blues, jazz, R&B and American roots music on Aug. 4. Returning from Scotland on Aug. 11, Skerryvore will entertain with its world-beat fusion. The Chris Kroeze Band will take the stage on Aug. 18. The winner of season 15 of The Voice, Kroeze performs more than 200 shows per year.

All performances are subject to change. Concert-goers may take lawn chairs and carry-ins. In case of rain, all shows will take place at Calvary Methodist Church, 4650 Cty Road E in Egg Harbor.
