Summer Fair

The Settlement Shops, located a mile south of Fish Creek on Highway 42, will host a summer art fair on July 26 from 10 am – 5 pm.

Some 20 artists and craftsmen will be present, displaying watercolors, acrylic, photography and more. A number of practical items will also be shown, such as handmade wooden items, cranky socks, up-cycled clothing and garden art.

This year’s fair will feature violinist and fiddler Gerry Field, who performs an eclectic mix of Celtic, jazz, classical and American fiddling.

The Bayside Bakery and Deli are offering a number of lunch and snack specialties during the fair. Visitors are also encouraged to visit the circle of shops that comprise the Settlement Shops to view hand weaving, beadwork, alpaca clothing and more.
