Plum Bottom Pottery announces its seventh annual summer art gala will be held July 14, 4 – 8 pm. Enjoy the newest creations from all of Plum Bottom’s nationally collected artists’ as well as enjoying the Italian culinary creations of Pamela Moore.
Chad Luberger, Plum Bottom’s porcelain artist, will unveil his newest one-of-a-kind sculptural and functional creations. This year Plum Bottom will also showcase the work of two jewelry artists Amanda Dewitt and Angela Lensch.
Dewitt’s uniquely recognizable sterling silver creations are hammered or cut by hand. Dewitt resides full-time on Washington Island where she puts her heart and soul into creating work that is sophisticated yet beautifully simplistic.
Lensch will debut her summer jewelry line, and display the beginnings of her new line of mosaic work. Lensch continues to amaze with her ability to explore and create wonderfully crafted work. “The colorful combinations she creates with a variety of gemstones are truly pleasing to the eye,” states Luberger.
Erin Nolan will debut her newest paintings. Long known for her work in traditional wood block printmaking Nolan delves into a new medium creating dynamic colorful paintings based on Aboriginal story art.
