Summer Soccer Registration Under Way

The Northern Door County SAY (NDCSAY) summer soccer registration is underway until April 23. The summer soccer program is open to boys and girls age 4 – 18 (by August 1, 2010). The program will kick-off at the Sister Bay field on Wednesday, May 12 at 5:30 pm, where the NDCSAY will hold their annual “Meet the Coach Day and Cleat Swap.”

The NDCSAY recreational league plays against Sturgeon Bay and Washington Island. Games will mainly be played on Tuesday evenings in Sister Bay (4 – 11 year olds) and on Thursday evenings in Baileys Harbor (12 years old and up), with an occasional Saturday game. Registration forms are available in the elementary office at Gibraltar School or at Baylake Bank in Sister Bay.

NDCSAY is also looking for volunteers of all ages to coach, assist, and line the fields, and the organization is looking for refs for the home games, which is a paid position.
