What do Patricia Shoppe of Egg Harbor and Louis Vuitton of France have in common? They both picked Rach B Jewelry as a distinct collection to feature. Chicago jewelry designer Rachel (Bommer) Price is in a recent book, Louis Vuitton’s City Guide to Chicago, but has been a favorite of Erin Bosman’s (owner at Patricia Shoppe) for more than six years.
“We are known to have locally made artisan jewelry, but I also want the collections to be relevant in the fashion and art scene. Rachel being picked by a major fashion house really confirms what I saw in her jewelry, both fashion and art,” said Bosman.
A hopeful dream became a reality as Price launched the Rach B Jewelry collection in 2007. Inspired by her affinity of jewelry of all sorts – new and old, real and costume – since a very young age it only seemed imaginable that she would have her own line someday. Rach B’s handmade artisan jewelry is feminine and casually luxe that will hold a permanent place in jewelry collections for years to come. Rach B Jewelry is proudly handmade in her open-by-appointment Wicker Park studio using sterling silver and 14K gold-filled metals and semi-precious stones. Her collection is available at Patricia Shoppe of Egg Harbor and will be featured as part of their summer trunk show series July 29 – Aug. 6. Meet designer Rachel Price at Patricia Shoppe on July 30, 11 am – 2 pm. For more information visit patriciashoppe.com.
