Sunset Concert Series Continues at Peg Egan Performing Arts Center

Dorothy Scott, Hans Christian and Sloan Wainwright will take the stage at the Peg Egan Performing Arts Center, the new amphitheater located on Church Street in Egg Harbor, on Sunday, July 20 for a full evening of pop, folk, jazz, blues and world music. The performance starts at 7 pm and is free of charge to the public.

Wainwright will open the night with her own set. Sloan is an outstanding and highly original singer, a compelling performer best known for her rich contralto voice, intensely personal lyrics, and an innovative approach to song. Her musical style melds the best of pop, folk, jazz, and blues to create a soulful hybrid.

Scott continues to flow effortlessly between genres achieving popularity in pop, folk, blues and alternative music. The common bridge is an exquisite vocal style, amazing guitar and keyboard playing and a gift for discovering the heart of a song. Her live performance is passionate and real, fierce and funny, outspoken and vulnerable.

Hans Christian’s musical journey began with cello studies at an early age and soon expanded by playing bass and moving to Hollywood and later to San Francisco. He has worked extensively as a performer and a composer and enjoys a growing recognition for his accomplishments as a producer, player, and engineer.

All concerts at the Peg Egan PAC are sponsored by the Village of Egg Harbor, the Egg Harbor Business Association, Leinenkugel’s, The Art of Music, Julie’s Park Café and Motel and the Orchards Golf Course.
