Sunset Cruise to Benefit TAP

Nothing says “Door County” quite like the beautiful shoreline and spectacular summer sunsets. Third Avenue Playhouse takes advantage of both with “A Little Night Music,” an event for the theatre on Saturday, August 15. Registration for this event will begin at 5:30 pm, with departure from the Sturgeon Bay City Dock (adjacent to the Door County Maritime Museum) at 6 pm.

Guests will cruise the waters of Sturgeon Bay aboard the Fred A. Busse. Originally designed as a City of Chicago fireboat, the boat served the Chicago Fire Department for many years and now houses a small museum dedicated to Chicago’s firefighting efforts.

Once the cruise is underway, attendees will enjoy a delicious meal and experience picturesque lighthouses, miles of shoreline and the beautiful music of Hans Christian and friends. A live auction will also be part of the evening’s festivities. Some of the auction items for the event include timeshare vacations, kayak tours, a dinner cruise to Marinette on a 50-foot SeaRay, and a private concert with Hans Christian and Julian Hagen.
