Sustainable Living Fair Explores Ontario-Wisconsin Ties

The public is invited to explore the intersecting worlds of the Bruce Peninsula in Ontario and Door County at an evening presentation, June 5, 6:30 to 8:30 pm, at Crossroads at Big Creek.

Speakers at the interactive event will be Eric Fowle, executive director of the East Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission and founding co-chair of the Niagara Escarpment Resource Network; Bob Bultman, geologist, caver and nature restorationist from Baileys Harbor, owner of RestoreDoor EcoLogical Services; Dr. Roger Kuhns, geologist and ecologist, president of SustainAudit LLC; Dr. Joanne Kluessendorf, geologist and director of the Weis Earth Science Museum, founding steering committee member of the Niagara Escarpment Resource Network; and Paul Regnier, owner and lead naturalist for Door County Nature and Travel LLC and Door County Tours LLC.

The group will share their collective stories, and reveal international connections and opportunities, from the recent Sources of Knowledge Forum, held in Tobermory, Ontario, in early May.

This event is a prequel to the Sustainability Fair on June 6, 10 am to 4 pm, also at Crossroads/Heritage Village, where these conversations will continue. For more information, contact Jenn Hansmann, Lakeshore Natural Resource Partnership, 920.672.1799.
