“Sustainable” Screening at Crossroads

On May 16 at 7 pm, Crossroads at Big Creek will host a screening of Sustainable: A Documentary. According to the promotional information, this film is “a vital investigation of the economic and environmental instability of America’s food system, from the agricultural issues we face — soil loss, water depletion, climate change, pesticide use — to the community of leaders who are determined to fix it. Sustainable is a film about the land, the people who work it and what must be done to sustain it for future generations.”

The screening, sponsored by Kewanee Cares, will be held in the lecture hall of the Collins Learning Center. It’s free and open to the public.

The Collins Learning Center, 2041 Michigan St., just east of the Hwy. 42/57 roundabout in Sturgeon Bay, is open 2 – 4 pm daily and during scheduled activities.
