Sweet Mountain Farm of Washington Island Featured on ‘Wisconsin Life’

Wisconsin Public Television (WPT) will feature Sweet Mountain Farm, of Washington Island, in a segment airing at 7 pm on Sept. 22. The segment is titled “Beekeeper Finds Russian Honeybees Uniquely Suited To Wisconsin.”

WPT Producer Joel Waldinger sat down with Sweet Mountain Farm last summer to talk about how it started. They talked about honeybees, honey, building beehives and the motivation that makes an apiary a successful endeavor.
