Switchback Delivers Celtic and Americana

Music fans will take in a mix of original and traditional Irish music from the duo Switchback during the next installment of the Art of Music winter concert series Friday, Jan. 13, 7 pm, at the Kress Pavilion. 

Brian Fitzgerald and Martin McCormack have been playing their brand of eclectic Celtic and Americana music for audiences in sold-out concert halls, performing-arts centers and festivals around the world for more than 20 years. Switchback’s crowd-pleasing concerts include stories of their travels, audience participation and a healthy dose of comedy.

The duo has created 13 award-winning Celtic and Americana albums, and their television specials The Americana Sessions and The Celtic Sessions have aired on PBS stations around the country.
