Take A Photography Tour through Yunnan Province

Linden Gallery recently hosted a reception for the photographers whose work was displayed at the gallery’s exhibit A Photojourney In Yunnan. Twenty-four photos depicting life in the foothills of the Himalayan Mountains were featured. While enjoying local Door County smoked fish, artisan cheeses and hard apple cider the conversation centered on “remember whens in China…”

“Remember when we rode in horse carts to Lake Er? Then we climbed in boats and watched as huge black cormorants dived for fish at the command of the fisherman.”

“Remember shopping in the markets of Xizhou with Chef Yang? I never saw so many wildly different fruits and vegetables!”

The Linden Photography Tour, led by internationally renowned photographer Doug Beasley, is so popular that it is scheduled again for March 17-30, 2016. Participants will have many opportunities to experience rural Chinese life in culture-rich Yunnan Province.

This unique opportunity – the combination of traveling in China with Door County friends, Jeanee and Brian Linden, and the chance to develop photography skills from a master – is offered to professional and novice photographers alike. Don’t miss this chance to take a photo journey in Yunnan.
