Take the Challenge

Kathy Navis invites everyone to visit Greens N Grains Natural Food Store and Café on Dec. 18 for a 1 pm presentation by Dr. Nicole James followed by dinner and a movie at 6 pm.

James, from Sturgeon Bay’s Center for Optimal Health, will discuss and answer questions regarding the launch of the Center For Optimal Health’s new CANcer THRIVEr program. Their science-based treatments have proved to be an effective alternative/addition to traditional chemotherapy and radiation. This program is an individualized approach to healing the body, mind and spirit.

Each month James visits Greens N Grains in Egg Harbor to share healthy nutrition-based approaches to well being. There is no charge to attend.

The movie for Dec. 18 is Fed Up. This movie reveals a 30-year campaign by the food industry, aided by the U.S. government, to mislead and confuse the American public, resulting in one of the largest health epidemics in history.

“See the film at 7 pm on Thursday, Dec. 18 and then join us and the filmmakers in taking the Fed Up Challenge,” says Kathy Navis. “Join our cause and go sugar-free for 10 days. You can get details and sign up at the film screening.”

Greens N Grains Cafe offers a natural and organic dinner special before the film screenings. Enjoy a soup specialty, salad, a fresh baked roll and a cup of tea for $7.50, available from 6 pm on. The film screenings at 7 pm are free, but loft-area seating is limited to 30 people. Dinner and film reservations are advisable. RSVP by calling 920.868.9999 or emailing [email protected].
