Taking Cycling to a New Level

Nor Door Sport and Cyclery in Fish Creek will offer their customers a new service this winter with an indoor cycling program. As the first location in Door County to offer the CycleOps Power indoor cycling program from SARIS, Nor Door hopes to enhance everyone’s experience by adding a new dimension to the sport of cycling.

The CycleOps Power program is used by elite athletes and cycling enthusiasts worldwide to monitor and evaluate power output during training. Utilizing the most cutting edge biometric feedback, technology and science, CycleOps provides the most immediate, objective feedback about performance. The program teaches people how to work out more effectively, helping them track their progress and reach their goals surrounding weight loss, fitness and performance.

Courses will be led by Fred Bexell, who is CycleOps trained and a certified Spinning Instructor. Classes, which will be based upon a four-week training program, will be offered Monday and Wednesday mornings and Friday evenings. Walk-ins are welcome, and based upon participation and interest, additional classes may also be offered on Sunday mornings or scheduled on an individual basis.
