Taking Disc Golf to the Max

Players fought through the snow at the Spring Time Open Disc Golf Tournament on April 2 at Maxwelton Braes in Baileys harbor. 

In the open division, CJ King tossed a 19-under-par 95 to take first place by three strokes over Michael Gilson and Nick Fischer, who each shot a 98. King took home the $515 first prize, and Gilson and Fischer won $310 each. 

In the masters division (age 40 and older), Christopher Hartman tossed a 111 to win $230, and Jordan Zacek broke into the money with a 113, good for second place and $140. In the intermediate level, Tyler Frykman of Door County finished third, shooting a 111.
