“Tales of Our Lives” Story Slammers Announced

Speakers have been announced for the ninth Tales of Our Lives: A Story Slam event from the Women’s Fund of Door County.

Tales of Our Lives features local people talking about an experience, relationship or lesson that has had a profound effect on them. New for this year’s event, each of the two nights will showcase five different storytellers. Thursday night’s storytellers are Jennifer Aldridge, Jeanne Kuhns, Jeannie Hoffman, Nikkie Howard and Symone Sandoval. Friday night’s storytellers are Scout Feldman, Milly Gonzales, Nikki Hedeen, Jess Holland and Allison Le.

The event takes place April 27-28 at the Door County Fire Company, beginning with a 6 pm social hour, light refreshments and a cash bar, followed by the program at 7 pm, which includes music by Jeanne Kuhns.
