Tambourine Lounge Welcomes Delaney Davidson and Uno Lady

A one-man band and a one-woman band will perform a house concert at The Tambourine Lounge at Holiday Music Motel on Oct. 22 at 7 pm.

Known worldwide as one of the premier one-man bands, Delaney Davidson is more like a one-man machine, fiercely independent and talented in all aspects of his artistry. One of his strengths is in knowing exactly when to select the perfect collaborators from songwriting, sound and video production to touring cohorts.

In constant motion, Davidson’s touring schedule is relentlessly non-stop. It’s a mystery where he finds the time to continue to produce a growing arsenal of albums, artwork and cinematic music videos. Winner of the New Zealand Music Award for Best Country Album in 2013, his latest release, Swim Down Low, features writing collaborations with Victoria Williams, Eric McFadden and James Hall from Steel Bridge Songfest’s “Construction Zone.”

Uno Lady will join Davidson for the Oct. 22 concert. Her latest release Amateur Hour holds a variety of grooves, colors and styles all created by one woman (Christa Ebert) using nothing more than her voice, a looper, small mixer, and microphone. The unique depth and variety of her talents make her a perfect touring partner for Davidson.

Tickets are $10 each. Advance reservations are strongly recommended. Call 920.743.5571 for reservations or purchase tickets online at HolidayMuicMotel.com/tickets. The Holiday Music Motel is located at 59 N 2nd Street in Sturgeon Bay.
