Tanck Named Scholar Athlete at Lakeland College

Gibraltar Graduate Trevor Tanck of Baileys Harbor, who recently completed his freshman season with the Lakeland College football team, has been named a 2011-12 Northern Athletic Conference Scholar Athlete. He was among 83 Lakeland student-athletes honored.

Scholar-athletes competing in the Northern Athletic Conference must maintain a grade point average of 3.25 or higher for the current academic year to receive the designation. Each academic year stands by itself for determination of this award.

The Northern Athletic Conference consists of 13 colleges and universities from Illinois and Wisconsin making it the third largest conference in NCAA Division III.
