TAP Features Work by Jeanne Kuhns in Lobby Gallery

Third Avenue Playhouse will feature the work of Jeanne Kuhns in its lobby gallery through Oct. 20.

Kuhns gained an appreciation of painting from her grandmother, whom she watched paint in her studio, with the scent of turpentine and cedar trees in the air. Kuhns began painting seriously again in 1996 and sought out the Door County art community, refreshing and expanding her skills through Peninsula School of Art classes in watercolor, figure drawing and acrylic painting. She opened Lost Moth Gallery in 2008 and moved it to Egg Harbor in 2014. 

Kuhns’ paintings have won Awards of Excellence in the online show Her Story 2017 and Our Bond with Nature in 2018, sponsored by Manhattan Arts International. She has been juried into multiple shows at the Miller Art Museum and Hardy Gallery and has had one-person shows at Mr. Helsinki, Kopi Café and Kavarna Coffee House.
