TAP Hosts “Madame Sherry” Informal Talk-Back Session

The cast, production, and creative team of Madame Sherry will be on hand on Aug. 14, 21 and 28, immediately after the 2 pm matinee performances to answer questions during informal talk-back sessions. James Valcq, Madame Sherry director and co-artistic director of the Third Avenue Playhouse (TAP), will lead the sessions.

The intimate setting of TAP’s 84-seat Studio Theatre is the perfect setting to hold a question and answer session. “It is always interesting to receive immediate feedback from audience members,” said TAP Co-Artistic Director Robert Boles. “Often their comments and questions are surprising and insightful. A good talk-back makes the audience more of a participant in the production rather than just a casual observer, giving them a chance to find answers to questions they may only wonder about had they not had the chance to ask.”

Look for talk back sessions on Sundays throughout TAP’s summer/fall season.

Also, on Aug. 15, 6-9 pm, TAP will host the Celebrate TAP! Gala Fundraising Event at the Door County Fire Company in Sturgeon Bay. Artists Jim Rose, Stephanie Trenchard, Shan Bryan-Hanson, Jim Rossol, Michael Doerr, Suzanne Rose, Jeremy Popelka, and Margaret Lockwood have donated pieces to be auctioned during the evening’s festivities. Many of the artists will be on hand to answer questions about their work. Meet past and present TAP company members before and after the scheduled entertainment.
