TAP Kicks Off Season with World Premiere

Third Avenue PlayWorks (TAP) will begin its 2023 season May 10, 7:30 pm, with a pay-what-you-will preview of I Carry Your Heart with Me by Jennifer Blackmer. 

The play – a one-woman tour de force featuring Milwaukee-based actor, director and theater educator Karen Estrada, who is making her Door County debut at TAP – is making its world premiere at TAP, 239 N. 3rd Ave. in Sturgeon Bay, as part of the World Premiere Wisconsin Festival. The theater company is also continuing its Community Partner Program this year. For this production, it has partnered with DC Farm for Vets, which will receive all of the proceeds from the May 10 preview, and patrons may also meet representatives from the organization that night. A final public preview is set for May 11, and the show will open officially May 12.
