TAP Presents Benefit Concert

Third Avenue Playhouse has served as a venue for local performers for ten years. On June 4 at 7:30 pm, a dozen of those performers join forces and voices for TAPFest, a concert event to benefit of the theater.

Since mid-January, the theater has been conducting a matching funds campaign called Dreams for the Next Decade, concluding June 30. To date the campaign has raised just over $10,000.

“With our campaign deadline approaching, a number of performers stepped forward to donate their talent,” noted Judy Drew, Executive Director. All proceeds from concert will be donated to the matching funds campaign.

TAPFest performers include Charlie Baumgardner, Julian Hagen, and Pete Thelen, along with two bands, The Sommer and The Works.

Tickets for TAPFest are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and students, and $8 for children under 12. Tickets are on sale at the theater box office, 239 N. Third Avenue, Sturgeon Bay. The box office is open 10 am – 3 pm, Monday through Friday and one hour prior to performances. Tickets are also available at Dancing Bear, 13 N. Third Avenue, Java on Jefferson, at the corner of Fifth & Jefferson, and online at http://www.ThirdAvenuePlayhouse.com. For more information call 920.743.1760.
