The #ENOUGH nationwide reading is the culmination of a year-long theater-activism initiative that started with calls for submissions from teens to write 10-minute plays that address the issue of gun violence. It received 184 submissions from 23 states and three countries, and a panel of award-winning playwrights selected this year’s top seven plays.
Third Avenue Playhouse – the only Wisconsin theater participating in #ENOUGH: Plays To End Gun Violence – will present readings of all seven plays virtually Dec. 14, 7 pm. Admission is free, but advance registration is required. Learn more and register at thirdavenueplayhouse.com.
TAP will also host a live talk-back session on its Facebook page immediately following the reading, at about 8:30 pm.
