Third Avenue Playhouse (TAP) is one of many theaters, schools and civic organizations nationwide that’s participating in #ENOUGH: Plays To End Gun Violence. On Dec. 14, these organizations will simultaneously present individually produced readings of original short plays written by middle and high school students from across the country.
The #ENOUGH Nationwide Reading is the culmination of a yearlong theater activism initiative that started with calls for submissions from teens to write 10-minute plays that confront the issue of gun violence. The readings will be streamed online Dec. 14, 7 pm, and a live talkback will follow. Access the reading and talkback by registering with TAP.
Admission is free. Any donations received will go to Sandy Hook Promise, a national nonprofit founded and led by individuals whose loved ones were killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School on Dec. 14, 2012.
