TAP’s Hilarious ‘A Tuna Christmas’ Begins Dec. 12

Tickets are now on sale for Third Avenue Playhouse’s (TAP) production of A Tuna Christmas, the uproarious sequel to Greater Tuna, which was last staged at TAP in 2013.

A Tuna Christmas, written by Jaston Williams, Joe Sears and Ed Howard, takes the audience back to the fictional town of Tuna, Texas, for a holiday story about small-town Southern life. It’s Christmas Eve, and radio-station personalities Thurston Wheelis and Arles Struvie are reporting on the Yuletide activities that have gripped Tuna, where the Lion’s Club is too liberal and Patsy Cline never dies. The show features Alan Kopischke and Noah Simon playing 22 of the wildest citizens of one zany town.

A Tuna Christmas will be on stage Dec. 12-31: Thursdays through Saturdays, 7:30 pm; and Sundays, 2 pm. TAP is also offering a 10 percent discount to groups of 10 or more. Companies and organizations can also schedule private showings for 40 or more. Call the TAP box office at 920.743.1760 to schedule.
