TAP’S THE BOOK CLUB PLAY OPENING SOON

Third Avenue PlayWorks (TAP) will begin rehearsals for its next production, The Book Club Play by Karen Zacarías.

When a world-famous documentarian makes a book club the subject of his next film and the wine starts to flow, it’s not just the books that get discussed. Conversation strays from the literary to the personal, and six young professionals learn that it’s best not to judge a book – or a person – by its cover.

During the show’s run, area book clubs are invited to hold their meetings at TAP prior to the show, with early access to concessions. Inquire about dates, details and availability by contacting Amy Frank at [email protected] or 920.743.1760.

The Book Club Play will run June 26 – July 24: Wednesdays-Saturdays, 7:30 pm, and Sundays, 2 pm. A pay-what-you-can preview is scheduled for June 26, 7:30 pm, with all proceeds going to TAP’s community partners Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library and the Door County Library.
