Team Leadership of Door County Hosts Sib Camp

Fox Valley Sibling Support Network and the Team Leadership Center are partnering up to offer Sib Camp to any child who has a sibling with special needs. From Aug. 2 – 5, siblings ages 8 to 15 will spend four days and three nights camping, backpacking, paddling and biking around the forests, beaches and natural areas surrounding Newport State Park, near Ellison Bay. Sib Camp is an opportunity to share stories and experiences with peers who truly understand the ups and downs of life with a sibling who has special needs.

All meals, camping gear and transportation from the Team Leadership Center are provided. (Trail bike rental extra.) The cost is $200 per person and financial assistance is available based on individual need. Registration information is available by calling Tim Pflieger at 920.746.9999.
