Tenley Koehler & Vicki Dantoin to Present Educational Programs

Tenley Koehler of UW-Extension and Vicki Dantoin from the Public Health Department will present “Cancer Clear & Simple” three times in 2017. “Cancer Clear & Simple” (CC&S) educational programs will give you a basic understanding of what cancer is, its risk factors and prevention strategies. Participants will also learn how to use cancer screenings as a tool to help find cancer early. The sessions will include engaging activities and useful handouts. Cancer Clear & Simple is an educational program that was developed in partnership with the UW Carbone Cancer Center’s Cancer Health Disparities Initiative (CHDI) and UW-Extension.

Sessions will be held from 1 to 4 pm at the following locations:  Feb. 15, Forestville Town Hall, 7705 Co Rd H; March 15, Peninsula Room of the Government Center, 421 Nebraska Street, Sturgeon Bay; and April 12, Baileys Harbor Town Hall, 2392 Co Rd F.
