Terry Murphy Releases Eighth Album

Wisconsin singer-songwriter Terry Murphy has released his eighth studio album, Wasted Potential, in digital and CD formats. Fans are hailing this collection as some of his best work: a refined sound shaped by the extended family of Door County musicians who helped to make the album possible. The songs tell the story of life in the Midwest, somewhere between agricultural and small town. 

“We wanted the album to be a true expression of who Terry is and what he brings to the table as a writer and performer,” said musician and producer John Lewis (who will perform Feb. 11 at Door Community Auditorium). “With a unique singing style that exudes personality and authenticity, it’s an inspired collection of original songs, and with the help of Hans Christian at Studio 330, Terry was able to unleash his inner troubadour and make these tracks come alive.”
