The Battle of the Brews

Enjoy Egg Harbor’s fall colors while sampling some of the best craft beer the peninsula has to offer when five area breweries come together for the second annual Peninsula Brewery Battle. 

Ahnapee, Bridge Up, Door County Brewing, One Barrel and Starboard  will showcase their finest products Sept. 25, 12-4 pm, and donate all proceeds to SnowKraft Nordic, the Boys & Girls Club, The Ridges Sanctuary and the Ahnapee State Trail. 

Craft-beer enthusiasts will gather at One Barrel Brewing Company, 4633 Market St. in Egg Harbor, to blind-taste-test three flights of beer – in the pale ale/IPA, porter/stout, and brewer’s choice categories – and vote for their favorite in each round. Whichever brewery receives the most total votes will be crowned champion. 

Event organizer Adam Peronto, executive director of SnowKraft Nordic, said, “We’re excited to be offering this event again. It’s a great way for people to try all of the wonderful craft beer we have here in Door County. We’re thankful for the generosity of our local breweries and their willingness to donate all of the proceeds raised during this event.”
