Door County Economic Development Corporation announced details for its annual investors meeting and luncheon on Tuesday, May 5, at Stone Harbor Resort and Conference Center in Sturgeon Bay.

The keynote speaker will be Terry Ludeman, retired Chief Economic Advisor for the State of Wisconsin. Ludeman is a highly sought after state resource, known for being able to take complicated economic data and translating it into meaningful (and entertaining) information for the non-economist. His remarks will be discussing "Looking Toward the Post-Recession Economy."

In addition, the meeting will include the presentation of the Door County Industry of the Year and Entrepreneur of the Year Awards. The luncheon meeting will also include the annual report to the community about the accomplishments of DCEDC during 2008. This year’s annual meeting also celebrates the 20th anniversary of DCEDC, founded in 1989.

The DCEDC annual investors meeting will start at 12 pm. A pre-luncheon reception with Ludeman will take place from 11:15 – 11:45 am. Tickets are $25 per person or $225 for a table of ten and are available from the DCEDC office. For more information, call 920.743.3113 x200 or email [email protected].
