The Chronicles of Craig Blietz

A large format hardbound coffee table book, titled Craig Blietz: Eight Years of Pastoral Dreaming, is now available on the work of Sister Bay artist Craig Blietz, best known for his rural and agrarian inspired imagery.

The book measures 12” x 12” and has 192 pages with full color images of Blietzʼs work, his studio and the work installed in exhibition. The book chronicles nine bodies of work executed by Blietz between the years 2006-2013. Miller Art Museum Executive Director Bonnie Hartmann and Museum Curator Deborah Rosenthal provided the introduction and interview, respectively. Included in the book are essays written by other noted arts writers and curators. Blietz was given a twenty-year retrospective last fall at the Museum to which this book is a companion.

Craig Blietz is represented locally by Edgewood Orchard Galleries. For more information call the Miller Art Museum at 920.746.0707 or Edgewood Orchard Galleries at 920.868.3579.
