The Clearing of Door County Features Annual Winter Program Exhibit

The Clearing is proud to present the work of its 2011 Winter Program students during its annual Student Exhibit scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, March 5 and 6 at the Sister Bay Village Hall. Taking place from 10 am – 4 pm each day, the exhibit will highlight students’ and instructors’ original works of art, fine crafts and other projects created during The Clearing’s Winter Program classes. The event is free and open to the public.

The Clearing Folk School’s 2011 Winter Program offered more than 120 classes in the arts, fine crafts, natural sciences and humanities during January and February. This annual program is made possible through the contributions of an all-volunteer faculty who teach in The Clearing’s informal hands-on folk school tradition. Classes are held on The Clearing campus in Ellison Bay and in homes and business locations throughout the county.
