“The Elf Who Knew Too Much” Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre

“All the world’s a stage,

And all the men and women merely players:

They have their exits and their entrances;

And one man in his time plays many parts,

His acts being seven ages.”

~ Shakespeare’s As You Like It, Act 2 Scene 7

While interpretations of this famous monologue from Shakespeare’s As You Like It hint at the more serious side of life and death, The Elf Who Knew Too Much will lead participants along on a light-hearted, “whodunit” journey to uncover the murderer amongst them at the Landmark Resort on Nov. 26 at 6:30 pm.

In this case, all men and women will have the opportunity to put their real-life roles aside as the scene for the Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre is set at the North Pole. With roles to fill from Rudolf, long retired from his duties as Santa’s guide through the night sky and currently a bartender at the Frostbite Falls Reindeer Bar, to Grandelf, the Arctic County Coroner, turmoil abounds when Endorfin, the hardest working elf, is found dead in his cottage.

With the revelation of each character sketch, clue and interrogation, participants will unravel the mystery behind Endorfin’s death and determine who the murderer is amongst them.

In addition to the interactive entertainment, the evening will boast a feast. The menu includes a mixed greens salad with choice of dressing, crab stuffed sole or Sicilian Style New York Strip Steak, fall vegetable blend, dinner roll, roasted garlic mashed potatoes (with sole) or roasted red potatoes (with steak), and dessert (red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting or caramel apple pie).

The cost for the dinner and the show is $50. Reservations are required; call 920.868.3205.
